Today we’re going to oxygenate our emotions, opening the body up wide and filling all the spaces and sensations with new life and energy. It’s quite a common experience to tighten up or tense against intense emotional feelings and sensations - even if they’re positive. When these intense emotions arise, the breath may become tight or shortened, however, it’s these moments that require our breath the most in order to process, receive, and integrate them fully. We can train the body to do so by becoming even more spacious, more relaxed, and more open during intense emotional experiences. When we do so - we let life in more fully, and it flows through us more easily. And that’s what we're doing today.
