'I Never Had To Say I'm Gay Or I'm Queer Or I'm Pansexual' - with D'orjay

Although I can appreciate a lot of the things about getting older I wouldn't say that I'm totally super enthusiastic about it (especially the creaking joints!). So, it was kind of nice to talk to singer/songwriter D'orjay and get a different perspective on getting on in years. And, in fact, everything about this week conversation is just lovely. It's one of those looking-back-at-teenage-you and thinking both 'what the hell was wrong with you?' at the same time as 'oooh, you are such a special person', and I always find those conversations really affirming. Finding out about a teenage D'orjay who had just moved to Edmonton, Canada, and found a little corner of the city in the gay bar The Roost was just delightful.
