Cinco de Mayo

What is Cinco de Mayo celebrated for? A lot of people think Cinco de Mayo is Mexico’s Independence day, but that takes place on the 16th of September. Some people also think Cinco de Mayo has to do with the Mexican revolution, but that’s not true either. In Mexico, this holiday isn't called Cinco de Mayo like it is in the United States. It's called the Battle of Puebla day and it's not widely celebrated. A Little Bit de Todo is a podcast about a little bit of everything, for curious minds of all ages.
