Chris Waddell was in college when a skiing accident left him paralyzed from the waist down. The moment he learned that he would never walk again was a moment of reckoning, and it was in its own way, only the beginning. What followed was an incredibly accomplished career as a Hall of Fame skier, 7 Paralympics, 13 medals, and a new mission to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro as an unassisted paraplegic. Commitment, fear, success, identity, and craft are all interconnected themes that are evident in Chris Waddell's incredible story. 🌟 Guest: 7-Time Paralympian Chris Waddell 🌐 Show Notes: othersideofsuccess.com/003-chris-waddell 🌟 Hosted by Ella Lucas-Averett 🎧 Check out Ella's women's wellness podcast, On Air with Ella. ------------------------ NOMINATE A GUEST: do you have (or know of) an epic story of failure on the path to success? By sharing true tales from the trenches, we expose an important truth of success: that failure along the way is not only inevitable, but required. This is true in business, in entrepreneurship, in relationships, and in personal accomplishment - really, in the effort to build ANYTHING that matters. It's not about glorifying failure, it's about humanizing success. Because, behind every success story, there's a tale of epic failure waiting to be told. - a LIVE BETTER MEDIA production -
